THE nationalist boycott of Protestant businesses in Lisnaskea, Co Fermanagh, has ended, it was claimed yesterday by the president of the Chamber of Commerce in the town. A number of Protestant businessmen, including the county's Orange Order deputy grand master, Mr Roy Kells, had suffered greatly as a result of being boycotted over their alleged role in protests connected with the Drumcree stand off, she said.
An Ulster Unionist councillor, Mrs Jean McVitty, said yesterday she was "delighted" the boycott appeared to be ending.
