The trial of a Scottish man for allegedly indecently photo graphing two young girls in a hotel room ended yesterday at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court with the State entering a nolle prosequi.

That decision came after Judge Dominic Lynch ruled identity parade evidence inadmissible, because the seven-year-old girl's grandmother had been present and might have influenced her decision.

Mr George Easton (52), from Polmont, Falkirk, had pleaded not guilty to charges of sexual exploitation and of sexual assault at the Shieling Hotel, Raheny, on February 20th, 2000.
