Around 200 people have joined today's search for Irish woman Winifred Brady who is missing in Bosnia.

Around 200 people have joined today's search for Irish woman Winifred Brady who is missing in Bosnia.

The Dublin woman disappeared on Wednesday, September 6th, while at the pilgrimage site of Medjugorje in Bosnia-Herzegovina.

The family of Mrs Brady (59), from Raheny, said it is as if she has vanished from the face of the earth.

Mrs Brady went missing after staying at her hotel while the rest of her group took a trip to a mountain-top religious site.

The Department of Foreign Affairs said it is liaising with Mrs Brady's family, police in the town, and a representative in the area.

A family member has flown out to Bosnia-Herzegovina to assist in the search.
