A grey seal pup has been rescued from the River Liffey in Dublin after being stranded under O'Connell Bridge for almost a week.
A member of the Irish Seal Sanctuary team rescued the pup on Wednesday with the help of crew from the Dublin Port and Docks Board. The seal, which was underweight, was taken to the Irish Seal Sanctuary in Garristown, Co Dublin.
