Cairo - An Egyptian sculptor is facing charges for using human body parts in a statue submitted for an art competition in Cairo, newspapers reported yesterday. They said Ahmed Karaaly (27) had confessed to buying human arm and leg bones from a grave-digger for 30 Egyptian pounds (£6) and then combining them with bones from a cat and a sheep in a transparent polystyrene statue.
