Glasgow - A third of all people in Scotland believe there is still "deep-rooted" anti-Catholic feeling in the country, according to a poll published yesterday.

The poll, by the Herald newspaper in Glasgow, showed 34 per cent of some 990 people surveyed agreed that bigotry was rife in Scotland while 45 per cent disagreed and 16 per cent neither agreed nor disagreed.
