Manchester United striker Louis Saha has been called into France's squad for next week's friendly against Belgium but there is no room for Manchester City's Nicolas Anelka.
France play in Brussels on Wednesday and Anelka had appealed to manager Jacques Santini for a fresh start at international level.
But Anelka, capped 28 times before falling out with the manager, was not selected and instead Saha - who joined United from Fulham last month for £12.8 million - earns his place in the squad.
