Sadlers Wings enhanced his Cheltenham prospects with an emphatic victory in the Bar-One Racing Hurdle at Navan today.
The Willie Mullins-trained six-year-old followed up a smooth debut success at Punchestown in impressive fashion.
The 4-6 shot, ridden by Ruby Walsh, came home 13 lengths clear of Zum See in the two-mile contest.
Mullins said: "I'm delighted with that. He got the bug that was around at Christmas and was all wrong.
"I was a bit worried that he might be a bit short of work today and I doubt if he will have another run between now and Cheltenham.
"He's in both novice hurdles there and at the moment I'm leaning towards the Royal & SunAlliance, but that could change at the last moment.
"It's only really fast ground that he doesn't like and that shouldn't be a problem at Cheltenham."
William Hill took the hint and have cut Sadlers Wings to 8-1 from 12s for the Royal & SunAlliance Hurdle, while Ladbrokes go 10-1 from 12s.
