Ryanair says July passenger numbers up 41%

Ryanair has said it carried 1,456,771 passengers in July, an increase of 41 per cent on last year.

For the 12 months to July, Ryanair carried 12,492,543 passengers.

July load factor - the number of passengers as a proportion of the number of seats available for passengers - was 93 per cent versus 86 per cent last year.

Internet sales in July as a percentage of total sales were 92 per cent versus 79 per cent.

Ryanair will report its first quarter to June 30th, 2002 results tomorrow.
