The RUC has issued a public alert about a man who stabbed a woman in Co Down early yesterday. The woman, whose injuries are said not to be life threatening, was attacked around 7.30 a.m. at Kilkeel Road in Annalong.
Police warned the public not to approach the man, who is described as being 5 ft 9 in, with dirty fair hair, and who is sun tanned, heavily tattooed and speaks with an English accent.
An RUC spokesman said he may be carrying two knives.
