Many roads around Dublin city centre will be closed to motorists to allow for festival activities today.
To facilitate the St Patrick's Day parade, Western Way will be closed from 5am to 2.30pm. Dominick Street Upper, Mountjoy Street, St Mary's Place North, Granby Row, Parnell Square North, Parnell Square East, O'Connell Street and O'Connell Bridge will be closed from 5am to 3pm.
Westmoreland Street, College Green, Dame Street, Lord Edward Street and Christ Church Place will be closed from 7am until 3pm. Nicholas Street and Patrick Street will be closed from 7am until 3.30pm. Clanbrassil St Lower will be closed from 7am until 4pm.
Merrion Square West will be closed to facilitate the funfair, while Earlsfort Terrace and Hatch Street Upper and Lower will be closed from 7am to 8pm today to cater for the céilí.
