A rescue plan for Mother Redcap's market has been agreed between owners and the traders' committee which will keep the market open for two more years with six-month reviews. Closure of Dublin's only indoor market in the historic area of Christ Church had been threatened when the owners issued traders with a notice to quit earlier this year.
The traders' committee has promised to increase occupancy levels at the 90-stall market.
