Paris - Osama bin Laden's extensive financial interests in Britain have been disclosed in a French parliamentary report that says the City of London financial centre is a money laundering haven for billions of dollars of terrorist money.
Up to 40 companies, banks and individuals in Britain can legitimately be suspected of maintaining relations with the terrorist, according to a 70-page annexe, The Economic Environment of Osama bin Laden, attached to the French report.
Meanwhile, Canada has disclosed that it has frozen $95,000 believed to be held by groups and individuals connected to bin Laden.
