Sarajevo - The remains of up to 80 people thought to have been killed after the 1995 fall of the Bosnian Muslim enclave of Srebrenica have been recovered in the past week, a Bosnian official said yesterday.
The remains were found lying scattered in woods between Srebrenica and the nearby town of Bratunac. The victims are believed to have been killed while trying to flee Serb forces to reach a Muslimheld town in the north, Mr Amor Masovic, who heads the Muslim Commission for Missing Persons, said.
