Bogota - Marxist rebels killed eight policemen and kidnapped 10 civilians in their latest wave of attacks across Colombia, authorities said yesterday.
Police and military spokesmen said the police officers were shot and killed by Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) rebels on Sunday afternoon in northern El Cesar province.
