Rangers have appealed to Switzerland's Court of Arbitration for Sport against UEFA's insistence that they must travel to crisis-torn Dagestan for a cup tie.
Earlier today, the sport's governing body in Europe ruled that the UEFA Cup first round, first leg with Anzhi Makhachkala should go ahead on Thursday evening despite terrorist activity in the Russian republic.
Rangers have told UEFA they are still not prepared to put their players at risk by flying out to the unstable region - but will set off tomorrow if the game is switched to a safe venue.
