The trial of two Co Armagh men accused of murdering PSNI constable Stephen Carroll was adjourned until tomorrow after the mother of one defendant, who faces a lesser charge, sought to dismiss her legal team.

Former Sinn Féin councillor Brendan McConville and John Paul Wootton appeared at Laganside Crown Court charged with the March 2009 Continuity IRA murder of Constable Carroll. Mr Wootton's mother, Sharon, is charged with perverting the course of justice.
