The Police Service of Northern Ireland were called in to break up a group of around 200 people involved in a disturbance in Derry city centre this afternoon.

A PSNI spokeswoman said the trouble broke out around 3.30 p.m. and police managed to restore order two hours later.

Investigations into the disturbances are continuing.
