Kuala Lumpur - Malaysian prosecutors are aggressively pursuing associates of the former finance minister Mr Anwar Ibrahim in a signal they may want to press controversial sex charges against him even though he is behind bars.

Government prosecutors yesterday indicted three men involved in three of the six charges still hanging over the head of Anwar, who was convicted last week of four counts of corruption and sentenced to six years in jail.
