A post mortem will not be carried out until tomorrow on the body of a woman (39) who was found dead in a house in Waterford city.
Gardaí are investigating the death of the woman who was found dead at the bottom of the stairs of a house on O'Connell Street at 10.30 last night.
A Garda spokesman said the body was still at the scene and the state pathologist would carry out a post-mortem tomorrow. The woman's name has not been released.
