London - The British Prime Minister, Mr Tony Blair, appears likely to win easy re-election, two surveys showed yesterday.
A poll by NOP for ITN television news found 52 percent of more than 1,500 adults canvassed said they would vote Labour while only 30 per cent backed the Conservative party.
A separate survey of 65 political experts conducted by Kalends, an online future events service, showed 86 per cent expected the government to win the next election with a parliamentary majority of more than 76 seats.
