Indonesian police say they have arrested the alleged chief planner of the bombings in Bali that killed nearly 200 people.
"I just have received reports from the investigation team . . . [it] has arrested three people and Imam Samudra was one of them," National Police chief Da'i Bachtiar told reporters.
The arrest took place in the province of Banten near the capital Jakarta.
On Sunday, police identified Mr Samudra (35), from West Java, as the top planner in the group that carried out the attacks at the Kuta nightclub area on Bali island.
