Plans for a £4 million textile retail outlet with the prospect of up to 400 jobs were announced yesterday in Dungannon. The Linen Green project at Moygashel, near the town, will feature a factory outlet and visitor centre.

The first phase of the project, which will showcase the textiles industry, is expected to be open by the end of this year.

The leading designer Paul Costelloe has already established a retail franchise in the complex.

A number of other leading names, including Foxford Woollen Mills, have signed agreements to come to Northern Ireland for the first time.
