MIA FARROW has said that during her relationship with director Woody Allen she had to play second fiddle to his psychiatrist.
Allen would consult his shrink on almost every aspect of his life, Farrow said.
"He had polyester sheets, and I wanted him to get cotton sheets . . . He discussed it with his shrink many times before he made the switch," she said in a television interview to be broadcast today.
Actress Elizabeth Taylor is to undergo surgery to remove a benign brain tumour, just one day after an AIDS fundraiser celebrating her 65th birthday.
Doctors confirmed the diagnosis on Monday, but Taylor decided to wait for surgery until after the event, which will benefit the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation.
Mice have invaded the kitchens and servant quarters of Buckingham Palace.
A spokeswoman yesterday said that notices had been pinned up in kitchens and residential areas used by staff telling them to clear away food.

Liam Gallagher, lead singer off British supergroup Oasis, and his actress fiancee Patsy Kensit are set to wed next week, according to the Sun newspaper.
The Oasis star and twice divorced Kensit (28) are set to marry on February 10th at a central London register office. This will be followed by a St Valentine's Day church blessing.
