PAMELA ANDERSON arrived in Britain yesterday - without baby Brandon or husband Tommy Lee. The former Baywatch star is to hold talks with Pizza Hut directors in London about making a second comic advert for the restaurant. She is reportedly being paid more than £100,000 for the ad.
Coronation Street star Bryan Mosley (65), who plays Alf Roberts, has suffered a second heart attack, and is recovering at the Bradford Royal Infirmary. Another Coronation Street actor, Bev Callard (2) escaped with just minor injuries after her car went out of control and hit crash barriers.
Callard, who plays Liz McDonald in the soap, suffered whiplash and bruising.
The Duchess of York yesterday visited a boy dying of blood cancer and offered to try to help him herself. Ashley Grice (9), in Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital is suffering from myeloid leukaemia, and will die before his 10th birthday in May unless he receives a bone marrow transplant. The duchess went to her doctor to give a blood sample for testing to see whether she would be a suitable bone marrow donor.
Sulaiman Khan, the two-month old son of Jemima and Imran, has been formally presented to high society for the first time - in the pages of Tatler magazine. The baby appears on the cover of the magazine's current issue, with his mother.
Whoopi Goldberg is to make her first appearance on Broadway next week in the lead role in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. She said her stomach was "tied up in knots" at the idea of singing and dancing on stage.
