Prince Charles visited his grandmother, the Queen Mother (97), in hospital last night. He was the fourth royal visitor to see her since she broke her hip at Sandringham on Sunday.
Earlier in the day, Prince Andrew was the first of her three grandsons to visit her. Queen Elizabeth is expected to visit her today.
Kate Winslet, Minnie Driver, Billy Connolly and Anthony Hopkins are among nominees for US Screen Actors Guild honours. Winslet was chosen for her role in Titanic, which also produced a best supporting actress nomination for Gloria Stuar (87).

Raquel Welch is to attend the Vienna Opera Ball, following in the footsteps of Sarah Ferguson and Grace Jones. Welch is to be the guest of Richard Lugner, who specialises in inviting personalities - and handsomely rewarding them.

US singer James Brown has been arrested on marijuana and weapons charges. Sheriff's deputies found marijuana and evidence that rifles had been fired in his home near Augusta when he was detained and taken to hospital under a court order two weeks ago.
