FRANK SINATRA (80) is in failing health, suffering from pneumonia and heart problems, according to local television station KCBS.

Citing anonymous sources, the station said that Sinatra's room at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles has been transformed into an intensive care unit. It also said that, against the advice of his doctors, Sinatra has said he wants to go home.

Susan Reynolds, a spokeswoman for Sinatra, has declined to comment on the singer's condition.
