A male pedestrian in his early 20s was killed in a hit and run accident on Nangor Road in Clondalkin, Dublin, shortly before midnight last night.
Gardai were this morning unable to say whether the car, recovered shortly after the incident, was stolen. The man was taken to St James's Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
