The three-day Dublin Book Festival concludes today with the launch of a new collection of the late Nuala O’Faolain’s writing.
The posthumous book - A More Complex Truth: Selected Writings
- will be launched this evening at City Hall.
The book, edited and selected by writer Tony Glavin, covered the writer’s non-fiction work from the mid-1980s to shortly before her death in 2008.
The festival, now in its third year, will also feature a debate on the legacies of feminism to mark International Women’s Day, featuring Susan McKay, Ivana Bacik, Caitríona Crowe and Margaret MacCurtain and chaired by Anthea McTeirnan.
Dozens of writers and journalists took part in over 40 readings and debates over the weekend.
Irish Times sports writers Gerry Thornley and Gavin Cummiskey will take part in debate on sports writing this afternoon.
A series of Irish Times Stage readings will also conclude also this evening with readings short story writer Claire Keegan and novelist Molly McCloskey.
