The operators of a nursing home were given leave by the High Court yesterday to seek an order directing the East Coast Area Health Board to decide on their application for registration of more bed spaces at the premises. The application was made almost a year ago.

Ms Ruth Behan, a psychotherapist/counsellor, and Mr Joseph Behan, a consultant engineer, operate Kylemore Nursing Home, Bray, Co Wicklow. They claim entitlement to registration of 17 additional bed spaces, set out in their application of March 6th, 2000.
