Mr Christy Delaney (46), who was shot dead in Finglas on November 4th 1995. It is believed he was killed at the instigation of a north Dublin drug dealer who suspected him of passing information to gardai. He was a petty criminal.

Mr Edward McCabe (30) and Ms Catherine Brennan (29), who were shot dead in Tallaght on November 23rd, 1995. It is believed they were killed by a criminal from Crumlin with whom Mr McCabe had earlier had an argument. Mr McCabe was a petty criminal and drug dealer.

Mr Eric Shorthall (22), who was shot dead in Ballyfermot on November 25th, 1995. He was approached by a gunman who shot him in the leg and the head before escaping on a motorcycle. This is believed to have been a contract killing on behalf of a criminal family in Ballyfermot. Mr Shorthall was a petty criminal and drug addict.

Mr Gerry Connolly (29), who was shot dead at his home in Ballyfermot on August 25th, 1995. A lone gunman fired shots into his chest at close range, after he answered a knock at his front door. Mr Connolly was a drug courier and may have been suspected of passing information to gardai.

Mr Francis Preston (30), who was shot dead at his home in Baldoyle on June 24th, 1995. He was killed by a "professional" assassin who approached him as he was about to drive to work. Mr Preston was implicated, in drugs offences, but never charged, and was known to have a violent temper. The reasons for his death are unclear.

Mr David Weafer (31), who was shot dead at his home in Finglas on June 23rd, 1995. He was killed by a man with a shotgun who called to the house. Mr Weafer was described as a vicious petty criminal with many enemies, and it is not certain who killed him. A theory that local IRA members killed him after he threatened one of their number was investigated.
