JERUSALEM - Unpaid undertakers laid out their wage demands - and a body - at a municipal council meeting in an Israeli town heavily in debt.
"Chutzpa (nerve) and blasphemy," the Deputy Religious Affairs Minister, Mr Yigal Bibi, said after workers from the Jewish burial society in Rosh Ha'ayin, near Tel Aviv, brought a woman's corpse to city hall on Tuesday evening. They had not been paid for three months, officials said.
