Irish film-star Pierce Brosnan says he has agreed to play James Bond for a fifth time.
The Navan-born star's contract officially ran out when he finished making Die Another Day, which is released later this month.
But he says the film's producers have offered him the chance to play Bond again, and he has accepted.
According to www.variety.com, the new film will probably will not start filming until early 2005.
