BRUSSELS - NATO defence ministers want a new international police force in Bosnia to capture indicted war criminals but are divided about how to tackle the problem, officials said yesterday.

"There is broad agreement in principle to do this," the official said after the Defence Secretary, Mr William Perry, met the defence ministers of France, the Netherlands, Norway and Denmark.
