National Forum to debate future of Europe

A plenary session of the National Forum on Europe will today debate the future of Europe at Dublin Castle.

A plenary session of the National Forum on Europe will today debate the future of Europe at Dublin Castle.

The forum opens at 11 a.m. and will debate topics emerging from the Convention on the Future of Europe, the "working blueprint" for a new treaty on the way Europe is to be governed.

Speakers at the forum will include the Minister of State for European Affairs, Mr Dick Roche.

The meeting, which is open to the public, will be chaired by Senator Maurice Hayes, the chairman of the National Forum on Europe.
