The jury in the trial of a man accused of murdering a father of two in Tallaght three years ago has been shown CCTV footage in which the fatal shots are clearly audible.
Garrett O’Brien (35) of Clover Hill, Bray, Co Wicklow, denies shooting dead Seamus “Shay” O’Byrne (27) in front of his partner and child on March 13th, 2009.
The jury was shown CCTV footage taken around the corner from the scene of the shooting at Tymon North Park in Tallaght.
The CCTV camera recorded three gun shots out of sight but in close proximity, followed by a short pause, another shot, a longer pause and then one final shot.
