A niece of SDLP MP Mr Eddie McGrady was found strangled on the beach at Portstewart, Co Derry, yesterday. Ms Julie Hamill's body was discovered just after 7 a.m. by a man out jogging.
Ms Hamill's body was found hours after she had left Kelly's nightclub in Portrush. Police appealed for anyone who spoke to her at the nightclub to contact them.
Ms Hamill (28), worked for the Educational Guidance Service For Adults organisation and was based in Ballymoney.
