Iran's opposition leader Mirhossein Mousavi said today pro-reform protests that have erupted since the country's disputed June presidential vote will continue.
In a statement on his website, Mr Mousavi said the "pro-reform path" would continue and called on people to gather on Thursday to commemorate those who had died.
"The establishment should respect the constitution," the statement said.
"Killings and arrests is a catastrophe ...people will not forgive those behind such crimes."
At least 20 people died last month after the disputed June 12th election, which gave a landslide victory to hardline President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Riot police and religious Basij militia eventually suppressed the protests.
Mr Mousavi, who came second in the election, and fourth-placed pro-reform cleric Mehdi Karoubi have continued to dispute the official result.
