A motorist was robbed of cash at knifepoint after being flagged down by another driver in Co Down yesterday afternoon.
The man was driving along the A1 near Banbridge at about 3.30pm when he noticed a black Ford Mondeo flashing at him from behind.
He pulled over but was approached by the driver of the Mondeo, who was armed with a knife. The robber took the man's keys and demanded money from the glove box. He was also made to open the boot, where more cash was taken from.
He was then given his keys back and told to drive off.
