Buenos Aires - The Duchess of York, formerly Ms Sarah Ferguson, and her sister, Ms Jane Luedecke, buried their mother Susan Barrantes at her Argentina ranch yesterday following her death in a car crash last weekend.
After a simple, open-air funeral service, Barrantes was laid to rest beside her second husband, professional polo player Hector Barrantes, who died in 1990.
Her coffin was placed in a crypt next to the polo field on their El Pucara ranch, about 480 km south-west of Buenos Aires.
