Emergency crews have pulled a seventh body from the ruins of an apartment block in northern Moscow this morning.
It was unclear how many people were in the building last night when an explosion collapsed five floors of homes.
Russian TV said the bodies recovered so far included a mother and her eight-month-old baby and a six-year-old girl.
Emergency Situations Minister Mr Sergei Shoigu said as many as 12 people might still be trapped in the rubble. Mr Shoigu said a natural gas leak was the most likely cause.
