Moscow - Constructors of Russia's Mir space station yesterday decided to abandon the 13-year-old vessel in August and bring it down into the Pacific Ocean early next year, NTV television reported.
The decision was reached during a council of directors of Energiya, the station which operates Mir, the station said.
