Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to an incident in Co Dublin this morning which left two motorists seriously injured.

The two were hurt when a caravan, which had become unhitched from a Hiace van, hit their Volkswagen van on the main Dublin to Belfast road at Corduff, Lusk.

The Hiace van - travelling northwards - left the scene of the crash, which happed during the busy rush hour period at 7.15 a.m.
