The ISEQ index was marginally ahead at lunchtime today, up 3.89 to 5621.24, after a quiet morning's trading.
CRH were trading at euro 19.00 up 20 on the day. Elan rose early this morning on the strength of positive news surrounding one of its products. However by lunchtime the stock was trading 50 cents down at euro 52.00.
The main financials continued to be somewhat in tandem today with their European counterparts. AIB was down 8 cents at euro 12.85 while Bank of Ireland was down 15 cents at euro 9.85.
Ryanair was down 25 cents at 10.55 while Galen were up 60 cents to euro 13.05.
