Man injured in Belfast shooting

A 42-year-old man is being treated in hospital after being shot on the outskirts of west Belfast last night.

A 42-year-old man is being treated in hospital after being shot on the outskirts of west Belfast last night.

The shooting happened outside a taxi depot on the Stewartstown Road shortly before 6pm. The victim was outside the depot when a masked man approached him and shot him in leg.

He is reported to be in a stable condition in hospital.
