A man is recovering in hospital after being stabbed by a group of men in Limerick city early this morning.
The man (33) was attacked by a group of men who pulled up beside him in a car while he was walking on the Ballysimon Road at 4.15 a.m.
He suffered a number of stab wounds and was taken to the Mid Western Regional Hospital for treatment. His condition is not thought to be life threatening.
