A 60-year-old man has died following a fire at a house in Newry, Co Down.
The alarm was raised after the blaze began at the house in Erskine Street in the town but it was too late to save the occupant.
Police have carried out a detailed forensic examination of the scene.
A postmortem on the body is due to be carried out later today. The man name’s has not yet been released.
