A jury convicted Tony Coffey (19) of Gallowsfields, Tralee yesterday of indecently assaulting a 12 year old boy on September 26th, 1992. He was remanded in custody until May for sentencing.
At the Kerry Circuit Criminal Court, Judge Kevin O'Higgins asked for a victim impact report and also a report on Coffey's background.
The victim told the court that he had been knocked to the ground by Coffey and forced into oral sex.
