McAlester - A man convicted of murdering a grocer was executed early yesterday by lethal injection, an Oklahoma state prisons spokesman said.
Charles Adrian Foster (51), was pronounced dead four minutes after receiving an injection of chemicals at a state prison here, an Oklahoma Department of Corrections spokesman said.
Foster was convicted of beating and stabbing to death Claude Wiley (74), a grocery store owner, in April 1983. It was Oklahoma's sixth execution this year.
