A Cork man was remanded in custody with consent to bail when he appeared before a District Court judge yesterday charged with possessing £250,000 worth of cannabis for the purposes of supplying or selling to others at Inniscarra, Co Cork, on August 18th. Judge Jim O`Connor remanded Mr Colm Deane, of Arderrin Way, the Glen, Cork, in custody on his own surety of £5,000 as well as an independent surety of £20,000. Mr Deane is due to appear in court again today.
